Meet Dr. Sofia Simone
Dr. Sofia Simone has always loved starting new adventures. She grew up in Hamilton, ON, traveled to the island of St. Kitts for veterinary school at Ross University, completed her clinical year at the University of Minnesota and practiced emergency medicine in the suburbs of Chicago.
Veterinary medicine has always been an integral part of Dr. Simone’s life and she enjoys helping pets in critical care situations. Dr. Simone is an emergency clinician and enjoys managing a wide variety of medical and surgical cases.
In her spare time, Dr. Simone enjoys reading, going to the gym and exploring her new home in Halifax. Accompanying her on her current adventure includes her rambunctious cattle dog mix Violet and her partner Tanner.
