Specialist Referral Process
If you are a primary care veterinarian, learn how to refer a patient to our specialty services, and and what to expect throughout the process.

Step 1: Complete Online Transfer Form
Complete our online referral form below. The form will allow you to upload any medical notes, radiographs, bloodwork, etc. Our referral coordinator will confirm with your hospital all necessary documents and diagnostics were received.

Step 2: Appointment Scheduling & Confirmation
Our referral coordinator will contact the pet owner and schedule an appointment with them directly.
We will also send you a confirmation of their appointment date and time.

Step 3: Sharing Patient Records
After the pet’s appointment with the specialty service requested, all records will be sent to referring veterinarians for review.
If at any point there are questions regarding the case, our specialists will be happy to set up a time to chat.

Our goal is to work together to provide the best standard of care. This means being available to discuss ongoing cases between our ER veterinarians, specialists and referring veterinarians.
