Meet Dr. Aleksandra Milaszewska

DVM, Practice Limited to Internal Medicine 

Dr. Aleksandra Milaszewska MSc, DVM, is residency-trained in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Originally from Poland, Dr. Milaszewska obtained a DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She also holds a MSc in Zoology.

In 2008 she finished a rotating internship at a private practice in San Antonio, Texas and then she decided to move north, to Canada where she worked as an emergency vet in Toronto. In 2022, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College. After finishing her residency, she worked in Ottawa, and will now be moving to beautiful Halifax and joining our Coastal Care Team.

She has two cats, who were previous blood donors from her time at OVC and a 16-year-old rescue Cocker Spaniel. She enjoys hiking with her senior puppy and travelling to remote places in the world.
